Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie claims he may miss the meet-up with Congo for the African Cup of Nations as he is expecting a baby.

The impressive Eagles winger is set to miss over a month of Premier League action, as well as the possible FA Cup third round tie with Dover, due to the tournament.
However, with his second child expected to be born over the new year, Bolasie has revealed he definitely won’t be leaving the country until he has met his new born.
“I think the meet is January 4, but that might not be the case,” Bolasie said.
“I have a little one on the way though, and she hasn’t come yet so it might be a while.
“I will 100 per cent wait until my little one is born before I go. I am not going all the way to Africa and then trying to fly back.
“The due date is December 24 but she doesn’t look like she is coming any time soon.
“We are supposed to report on the 4th or 5th of January but if she isn’t born I won’t be there.”
Bolasie could still play against Dover in the FA Cup third round and may be sticking around for a while after that.
The African Nations excites the impressive winger, who has been on fire this season, but the timing isn’t great.

Senior players axed as Janza names his 27-man squad for Africa Cup
Chipolopolo coach Honour Janza took a huge gamble by leaving out several key and experienced performing Zambian stars as he named a 27-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations finals kicking off in Bata on 17 January.
Despite calls for Janza to pick players in good form and blend youth and experience for Zambia to have a real chance of winning a second Nations Cup, Janza ignored the calls and left out leading scorer in the Israeli league Roger Kola, big striker Jacob Mulenga, 2012 winning skipper Chris Katongo, Egyptian based Felix Katongo, Collins Mbeusma, Joseph Musonda and clubless play-maker Fwayo Tembo. There was also no place for Kabaso Chongo, Hichani Himonde and Dennis Banda but Khondwani Mtonga will bring his Indian Super League experience to a stuttering backline which is uncertain about the fitness of Stoppila Sunzu, has lost Nyambe Mulenga and Nathan Sinkala's form continues to be a huge concern.
Instead of selecting top performing players like Kola (in fine scoring form), and Jacob Mulenga, who could bring their experience to the fore at the finals, Janza opted for Patrick Ngoma and James Chamanga in a frontline selection that also has Sate Sate, Emmanuel Mayuka and 2014 Super League top scorer Jackson Mwanza.
Zambia opens her Nations Cup campaign on 18 January against the DRC in Ebibiyin before taking on Tunisia on the 22nd and complete Group B business against Cape Verde on the 26th January.
The 27-man squad will be trimmed to 23 by January 10, 2015.
Full Squad called for the final Africa Cup camp starting on 26 December in Johannesburg: GOALKEEPERS: Kennedy Mweene (Mamelodi Sundowns, RSA), Danny Munyau (Red Arrows), Toaster Nsabata (Nchanga Rangers), Joshua Titima (Power Dynamos; DEFENDERS: Stoppila Sunzu (Sochaux, France), Bronson Chama (Red Arrows), Donashano Malama (Nkana), Aaron Katebe (FC Platinum, Zimbabwe), Christopher Munthali (Nkana), Emmanuel Mbola (Hapoel Ra'anana, Isreal), Davies Nkausu (Bloemfontein Celtic, RSA), Rodrick Kabwe (Zanaco); MIDFIELDERS: Nathan Sinkala (Grasshoppers, Switzerland), Chisamba Lungu (FC Ural, Russia), Mukuka Mulenga (Bloemfontein Celtic, RSA), Kondwani Mtonga (North East United, India), Spencer Sautu (Green Eagles), Rainford Kalaba (TP Mazembe, DRC), Bruce Musakanya (Red Arrows), Lubambo Musonda (FC Ulisses, Armenia); FOWARDS: Emmanuel Mayuka (Southampton, England), Given Singuluma (TP Mazembe, DRC), Ronald 'Sate Sate' Kampamba (Nkana), Evans Kangwa (Hapoel Ra'anana, Isreal), Patrick Ngoma (Red Arrows), Jackson Mwanza (Zesco United), James Chamanga (Liaoning Whowin) - Zambian Football KICKOFF, on Twitter @ZambianKICKOFF

Re: CAN 2015
