J'espère seulement qu'après son transfert on ne passera pas le temps à évoquer indéfiniment l'adaptation parce que je doute que Mbokani néglige totalement et à ce point la jupiler league.

Mbokani, successeur de Trezeguet à la Juventus?

Selon le Gazzetta dello Sport, Mbokani pourrait être le remplaçant de David Trezeguet à la Juventus de Turin, dès janvier. Le contrat du Français se termine à la fin de la saison mais Trezeguet aurait déjà des envies de départ.

Le journal italien voit en Dieumerci Mbokani le successeur idéal du Français. L'attaquant du Standard aurait fait forte impression aux dirigeants la Vieille Dame lors de ses prestations en Ligue des champions. (Ch.D.)

Tras diez temporadas defendiendo los colores de la histórica Vecchia Signora, el delantero francés de 32 años David Trezeguet abandonará la disciplina de la Juventus el próximo verano, momento en que finaliza su contrato y a partir del cual tendrá la libertad de elegir su nuevo destino con la carta de libertad bajo el brazo.

Esto ha provocado que la escuadra bianconera se haya puesto manos a la obra a fin de encontrar un recambio de garantías que haga olvidar al histórico delantero galo que acumula la friolera de 137 goles en 236 encuentros disputados en su paso por la Serie A, donde dejará una importante huella debido a su capacidad goleadora.

Según destaca a este respecto La Gazzetta dello Sport, el último nombre en vincularse a la Juventus es el joven atacante de 24 años Dieumerci Mbokani, futbolista del Congo que disputa su tercera temporada en el Standard de Lieja belga, donde ya acumula 73 partidos en la Division 1 en los que ha sido capaz de marcar 34 goles.

Sin embargo, esta no está siendo la mejor de las campañas para el jugador, ya que hasta la fecha únicamente ha sido capaz de anotar 3 tantos en 12 encuentros, lo cual no ha impedido que otros conjuntos como el Valencia también valoren muy positivamente su posible incorporación (ver artículo

We need a big strapping striker, who can hold up the ball and score goals with either foot and his head. As much as I didn’t rate Didier Drogba in his early days at Chelsea and as much as he largely still revolts me now, there is no doubt that Drogba makes a big impact - and it is just the sort of impact that we need.
There is the reported possibility that Arsene Wenger will have money to spend this January. That, allied to Robin van Persie’s long-term injury, means that we should be foaming at the mouth to finally sign a big geezer to instil fear and havoc into the opposition, directly or indirectly.
Dieumerci Mbokani of Standard Liege is someone who has interested me for some time. I am not suggesting that this guy is the best out there, I am sure that there are other good alternatives. But whenever I have seen Mbokani in action this guy shouts out to me as having the brooding menace that could be dynamite for Arsenal.
Mbokani is not the finished article but then few are when they join Arsenal. If he was a finished article he would cost £20-30m: as a young developing player, featuring in a minor European league, his value would not be unmanageable. At best, Mbokani could be a new Drogba; at worst, he could be a new Adebayor.
It could be argued that Mbokani didn’t score against Arsenal in either Champions League game between the two clubs this season, so what is there to be impressed by? However there was enough skill, intelligence and delivery in his control, turn and shot which hit the bar in the recent home match that it shouted out that this guy has something.
Mbokani has scored 40 goals in the last two full seasons in Belgium. That may not be a strong league but you can only play the teams in front of you. Quality players improve in quality surroundings: I believe that this guy could be something special. A club in England is likely to have the brain to give Mbokani a platform at some stage – I remain hopeful that Arsenal will show that they do have a brain.

En attendant, ce ne sont que des infos à prendre au conditionnel. Attendons que le transfert se réalise et puis on pourra jubiler. Dois-je vous rappeler les 50 pages concernant Mputu, qui au final est resté au pays, à juste titre d'ailleurs ou même toutes les rumeurs de transfert concernant les internationaux congolais pro et locaux confondus ??? Attendons seulement... Une chose est sure, il partira dans un bon club.
