A talented Academy product, who is a skillful and composed presence in the centre of midfield.

Signed his first professional deal with the club in March 2011 at the age of 16, and agreed to stay at Madejski Stadium until the summer of 2014.

Attracted interest from Manchester United towards the end of the 2011/12 season, and played for the Red Devils as a 'guest player' alongside fellow Royals Academy graduate Jake Cooper in a tournament in Amsterdam.

Though still a second year scholar at Reading, 'Tish' shone for the under-21s during the 2012/13 season and continued to impress in Martin Kuhl's side in 2014/15, helping the U21s clinch the first ever Premier League Cup in April.

Was named on the first-team bench for the first time in 2013/14 in away games at Derby County, Brighton and Leeds, and frequently travelled with Nigel Adkins' squad for fixtures on the road.

Agreed a new two-year deal at Reading in June 2014.

Aaron Tshibola says he’s been blown away by Villa’s size and stature – and insists he wants to be a big part of the drive to lead us back into the Premier League.

Tshibola today became our third summer signing as he put pen to paper on a four year deal.

The all-action midfielder knows that the fans are hurting and wants to bring joy into their lives as quickly as possible.

He said: “I am delighted to be here. I am buzzing to be in the claret and blue.

“The history of this football Club is there for all to see. It speaks for itself. I have been getting shivers reading through all the cups and titles this Club has won. It’s incredible.

“Aston Villa is a massive football Club. Everyone knows it should be in the Premier League. We will be fighting to go straight back up.

“The Club has been in a low point. But I want to be part of that journey back up. It’s a new era now, a fresh start. We’ve got to forget what’s happened and focus on bouncing straight back up.”
Tshibola was quick to thank his former Club, Reading, for the opportunities they afforded him.

The 21-year-old rose through the ranks at the Royals and spoke highly of the organisation he left behind.

He said: “I have massive respect for Reading. I have met some great people there and developed through the age ranks.

“It’s the next step in my career now. But I wish everyone well at Reading. I am very thankful for my time there.” ... ks-forward

MK Dons have signed Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola on a season-long loan.

Tshibola, 22, arrived at Stadium MK on Thursday to complete the move which will see him remain with the Dons until the end of the 2017/18 campaign, subject to clearance from the relevant bodies.

The 6ft 3in central midfielder has totalled 25 Sky Bet Championship appearances for clubs such as Reading, Nottingham Forest and the aforementioned Villa. Tshibola also played 23 league games during a loan spell with Hartlepool United.

He becomes Robbie Neilson’s eighth signing ahead of the new season.

“I’m delighted,” Tshibola told iFollow MK Dons. “I the met the manager - he was totally ambitious and sold the club to me. The club matches my ambitions and I feel like this is the perfect place for me to be right now.

“I want to get back playing and enjoying my football. I feel like, at this time in my career, playing games is the most important thing for me. Hopefully I can do that and help the team strive for some success this season.”

Robbie Neilson said of his new signing: “It’s a move we’ve been working hard on for a while so to finally get it over the line is really pleasing for us.

“Aaron will bring great experience, energy and power to the team. He’s a Championship-calibre player so it’s a top signing for us.

“I think it shows how far we’ve come and where we’re trying to get to, that we can attract someone of Aaron’s quality.”

Tshibola will wear the number 20 shirt and could make his first appearance in Friday’s friendly with Leicester City at Stadium MK. ... idfielder/
