TU :haha: OU QUOI?

In August 2010, Kazenga joined Brighton once again for a four-month loan spell. Impressed on the south coast but suffered a broken leg against Hartlepool on 13 November 2010.

Newcastle's young winger Kazenga LuaLua has been named October's Young Player of the Month for the npower Football League in The Times newspaper's football supplement, The Game.

The award comes as a boost to the Congolese teenager, who suffered a broken leg against Hartlepool earlier this month, and is a reward for his impressive form for The Seagulls, who are top of their division.

His two stunning long range strikes against AFC Bournemouth and Charlton Athletic caught the eye to earn him the award, which he picked up at the site of the club's new stadium, where construction is currently ongoing.

LuaLua, younger brother of former Magpies star Lomana, made his United debut in January 2007, aged 16, and enjoyed a successful loan spell with Albion last season. He rejoined Gus Poyet's side in August and has made eleven first team appearances so far this season, scoring four times - his first goals in professional football.

He said: "The team's been doing well and everyone's buzzing. I've really enjoyed my second spell here.

"My target for this season was to get more goals and I've scored a couple, including a good one against Bournemouth.

"To be top of the league is more than I expected and the team just need to keep going."

The Football League's Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson said: "Kazenga LuaLua is an exciting talent and the progress he has made this season highlights the beneficial effect competitive first team football has on the development of young players sent out on loan."

Each month, the Young Player of the Month Award is awarded by The Football League to the young player who has made the most significant contribution and impact in first team football. To be eligible the player must be either under 21 years of age or be playing in the season during which he turns 21.
